Bio:
Dr. Shahbaz Farnad is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist known for his integrative, patient-centered approach to chronic pain care. He studied at UCLA and trained at Rush University and Mount Sinai Hospital, where he also served as a faculty member and fellowship director.
His clinical focus includes non-opioid treatments for spinal pain, CRPS, headaches, and sports injuries. He is skilled in advanced procedures like spinal cord stimulation and fluoroscopy-guided techniques.
Dr. Farnad founded a modern private practice and surgery center in Los Angeles’ Miracle Mile and leads Apollo Anesthesia Associates, a leading anesthesia group in California. Despite his entrepreneurial success, his core mission is delivering compassionate, long-term pain relief.
Outside of work, he enjoys travel, music, yoga, tennis, and LA’s food scene with his wife and two children.
